Video Portfolio
When I'm not working in audio- or production-world for various projects, I've taken Video production as a professional hobby.
"Nature=Metal"
Client: Neal Schmitt
Role: Post-production
When given a folder of stock images, some phone-camera footage, and a generic metal music bed, I decided to create an action-packed story of the circle of life. The result is quite possibly the silliest thing I've ever made, and I had loads of fun doing it. Within the goofy edits you will find proof of high proficiency in syncing, animation, and storytelling.
"'Colors' Tracking"
Client: KJ The Cool Nerd
Role: Camera Op, Post-production
KJ Queener, who performs under the name KJ The Cool Nerd, is a highly motivated artist as well as a good friend of mine. When tracking his single Colors I outlined the process of studio time in detail in video. You can check out the final mix for Colors in my audio portfolio.

"Threads - Paul Lansky"
"Threads" is a quartet piece composed by Paul Lansky and performed by the Capital University Chamber Percussion Ensemble. A 10-movement 30-minute piece, "Threads" is designed to prove the versatility and compatibility of percussion instruments ranging from glockenspiel to flower pots, and everything in between.
"Sweet Dreams and Time Machines" is a marimba-duet composed by Michael Burrit and performed by the Capital University Chamber Percussion Ensemble. Of the repertoire filmed for this project Sweet Dreams and Time Machines is the only to be filmed in Mees Hall of Capital University. The allowance for a simple purple lighting wash on stage certainly adds to the emotions inspired by the music.

"Two Plus One - Ivan Trevino"
"Two Plus One" is a marimba-duo piece composed by Ivan Trevino and performed by the Capital University Chamber Percussion Ensemble. Filmed outside, the video's color balance was a big chunk of the work involved in producing this piece.

Role: Post-production
"Dance of the Drums" is a duet piece composed by Gene Koshinski and performed by the Capital University Chamber Percussion Ensemble. The combination of so many instruments in this primal-sounding piece made proper syncing of upmost importance during post-production.

"Give Your Brain a Break"
"Give Your Brain a Break" is a 30-second PSA outlining the importance of taking time away from screens. In our modern society, information overload runs rampant, and it is crucial that we give ourselves a break from the business of news outlets and social media. Acting in this video is Tyler Novak.
